F.A.Q.

Q: Where do I get info. on Baseball at RA Steen?
A: Contact the Coordinator – Andrew Moreau at andrewmoreau1@gmail.com or call him at 204-452-6143. Also go to Baseball Manitoba or www.nwmba.ca for general info. on coaching, umpiring, and other league info.
Q: Where and when do they play?
A: RA Steen teams club teams play at Omand’s Park (just South of Portage by the Creek) as their Home Field. Otherwise, away games can spread as far out to the North as St. Andrews or Selkirk and West as Headingly. The oldest players may play City-wide.
Games are played during the months of May and June: two games a week plus practices or tournaments. Occasional, but infrequent, weekend games may be scheduled.
Q: What about younger ages?
A: Children aged 4- 6 years can enter Rally Cap. This program depends on a lot of parent support – so please sign up to volunteer for Rally Cap when registering your kid! *Kids born in 2018 may go to Grand Slam depending on comfort-level and skill.
Q: What are the equipment needs?
A: RA Steen will work to equip teams with jerseys, bats, balls and helmets – however kids are invited to use their own equipment. They will likely need grey baseball pants if none are available.

Q: Anything else?
A: Talk to the coordinator – Andrew at andrewmoreau1@gmail.com or 204-452-6143. We need Coaches – so don’t hesitate to ask about how that works!!
